Each section of this Policy provides helpful examples and uses simpler language to make our practices easier to understand.       What information do we collect?

      The information about you that we collect and process depends on how you use our systems. For example, if you sell furniture on Marketplace, we will collect different information than if you ask VNSEEA's artificial intelligence to write a joke for you. When you use the Products, we collect some information about you.

      What if you don't let us collect some information?

      We need to have some information to operate the Product. Other information is optional, but if it is missing, the quality of your experience may be affected.

      What if the information we collect is not personally identifiable?

      In some cases, third parties will remove identifying information, aggregate or anonymize information so that it no longer identifies an individual, and then provide that information to us. We use this information as described below without attempting to re-identify individuals.

      How do we use your information?

      We use your information to provide you with a personalized experience (including advertising), as well as for other purposes that we explain in detail below.

      For some of these purposes, we use automated and linked information. The information we use for these purposes is automatically processed by our systems. However, in some cases, we also conduct manual reviews to access and review your information.

      We use the information we collect to help protect people from harmful situations and provide safe, secure Products.

      To provide measurement, analytics, and business services

      Many people use our Products to run/promote their businesses or share content. We help them measure the effectiveness of ads as well as other content, products, and services.

      We communicate with you using the information you’ve provided, such as contact information you enter on your profile.

      To research and innovate for the community

      We use information we have, information from researchers, and public data sets from experts and non-profits to conduct and support research.

      How is your information shared on VNSEEA Products or with integration partners?

      On VNSEEA Products

      Your information may be shared publicly or with your connections, groups, or Pages according to your settings on the VNSEEA social network.

      With integrated partner

      You can choose to connect to third-party applications using our Product. These integration partners will then receive information about you and your activity. They can access publicly available information on our Product at any time.

      How do we share information with third parties?

      We do not sell any of your information to anyone, and we never will. We also require our partners and other agents to adhere to rules that govern how they can and cannot use and disclose the information we provide.

      • Service Providers:Technical infrastructure support, customer service units.

      How do VNSEEA companies coordinate with each other?

      We are among the affiliated companies that provide VNSEEA Products. This ecosystem includes all social networking services, chat applications, and other VNSEEA products that this Policy governs.

      We share the information we collect and use shared infrastructure, systems, and technology with other VNSEEA Companies. We also process information received about you from other VNSEEA Companies, in accordance with the terms and policies of those companies, as well as current regulations. In some cases, VNSEEA acts as a data processor for other VNSEEA Companies. We act on their behalf, according to their instructions and terms.

      Reasons why we share information among VNSEEA Companies

      VNSEEA's products share information with other VNSEEA companies for the purpose of:

      • Enhancing safety, security, and integrity, as well as complying with applicable laws
      • Personalize offers, advertisements, and commercial content or other sponsored content
      • Develop, provide, and personalize integrated features and utilities
      • Understand how people use and interact with VNSEEA companies' Products

      How long do we keep your information?

      We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, or protect our interests or those of others. We determine the retention period on a case-by-case basis. Here are the factors we consider when determining this:

      • Whether we need that information to operate or provide the Products. For example, we need to retain some information to maintain your account.
      • The feature for which we use the information, and how that feature works. For example, messages sent in the ephemeral mode of vnseea Chat are retained for a shorter period than regular messages.
      • The period for which we need to retain information to comply with certain legal obligations.
      • Whether we need that information for other legitimate purposes, such as preventing harm; investigating conduct that may violate our terms or policies; enhancing safety, security, and integrity; or protecting ourselves, including our rights, property, or products.

      • Reasons and handling:Account verification, detection of terms of service violations, investigation of suspicious activity, combating inequality, protecting life and health, and preventing malicious spam systems. Decisions may be reviewed by an independent council.

      • Reasons and handling:Send emails or in-product notifications about system issues, policy updates, or to respond when you submit a support request.
      • Categories of information used:Contact information on your personal page, content of correspondence, and device characteristic information for receiving notifications.

      • Reason and handling:Store and use contact information to send promotional programs and marketing offers that comply with legal regulations and your personal settings.

      • Reason and handling:Analyze aggregated data (e.g., migration patterns during natural disasters) to support relief organizations, contribute to artificial intelligence research, and advance science and technology for public benefit.

      17. Anonymize your information

      • Reason and handling:Completely remove personally identifiable elements to transform data into anonymized information, serving long-term product improvement and technical optimization without affecting privacy rights.
      • Categories of information used:All categories of interaction behavior data, created content, and device parameters before being processed by the anonymization filter.

      18. Share information to comply with legal requirements

      • Reasons and how to handle:Access, retain, and share information as a mandatory or reasonably voluntary obligation to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in handling civil disputes, court orders, or preventing threats to security and human life.
      • Categories of information used:Depending on the scope of the judicial authority's request, it may be limited to login information, contact details, or extended to message content, payment transaction history, and location data with a valid order.
