Make sure they are the same if you can’t see them look at the number of stars or dots. Look at the mail server settings boxes for password and port settings they’re the ones you need to delete and reapply. Doing a send and receive manually or waiting on the scheduled send and receive on the client does not update new mail items.

I checked on web mail here it is.one account is configured on two computers, one is configured with POP & second is IMAP. Missing mail is showing on POP account Pc but not showing on IMAP pc. If I have the inbox selected and I get new mail, I will not see the new mail appear in the inbox automatically during a scheduled send and receive. I use both webmail and Outlook desktop client to access my Gmail. I am normally looking at the All Mail folder on Outlook. Whenever I drag messages from the All Mail folder to the Trash folder on Outlook, these messages remain visible in the All Mail folder mailbox not updating on IMAP when accessed via webmail.

Maybe some encoding behavior or just a different linefeed or something that has changed over the troubleshoot Outlook synchronizing folders error years... I’ve never heard of setting a path before for email, so apologies if this is a simple solution to those who come across this in the future. If you can, turn off IMAP, require 2FA, and use the native outlook client. Having the same issue with some of our accounts on IMAP as well.

I don't see - 'When getting new messages... I checked all 5 of the tabs in this window that expressions is not there. This seems bizarre the email would not populate. The uploading of the old messages to the new account is what caused the problem. I will try the safe starts and experiment with the buttons ans see if it improves.
My accounts in Mail app stopped to sync post update
I am using TB for just three weeks now and I have issues daily Fix Outlook and Office 365 Errors 2025 when sending mail with no attachments the outgoing mail server will time out. Since the sync issue is universal it appears to be a global issue. Perhaps something in TB needs to be tweaked. I have no firewall monitors running during the day that would interfere just the vpn. With that said - the "delayed syncing" issue that I am experiencing is happening on Inbox as well as Junk folders.

While outlook supports IMAP, it doesn’t really want to work with it, so not surprised you are having some troubles. My phone, which I have no problems with, is behind the same router/firewall as the PC on a regular basis. The issue persists with PC connected directly to the internet with no router or firewall in between.
- Microsoft, gmail and other popular accounts should sync automatically, but if they don't, I'm inclined to think it's due to the VPN or a security/antivirus app that is scanning the TB profile folder.
- I checked on web mail here it is.one account is configured on two computers, one is configured with POP & second is IMAP.
- One other thing I would check for is corrupted OST files.
- Everything works great for the most part, except with our IMAP users.
I deleted the Apple Mail app from the phone, reinstalled from the App Store. It's just a little bit technical, but we have an IMAP proxy that chooses from some different backend IMAP servers. If the user account ends up on an old IMAP server implementation (in that case f.i. a Cyrus imapd 2.4.17), IMAP Client of iOS 18 Mail app doesn't work.
IMAP folder sync issue in the new Outlook (moved emails not syncing to webmail)
If the proxy directs requests to a newer IMAP server implementation (f.i Cyrus imapd 3.6.1), the iOS 18 Mail app works as expected, even the requests are handled by the same IMAP server proxy. Suspect some Apple Dev's have been lazy with some code in IOS18's mail.app and its causing the issue. Decided to just try completely removing my Gmail account, the one that wasn’t syncing with the Mail App after the iOS 18 update. I know this is not very helpful, but we ran into exactly the same issues as you with one of our clients using Outlook 2010/Win7 and Godaddy’s IMAP mail and never truly figured it out.
I still have to manually click on a different folder other than inbox, then click back to inbox for new items to appear. Microsoft, gmail and other popular accounts should sync automatically, but if they don't, I'm inclined to think it's due to the VPN or a security/antivirus app that is scanning the TB profile folder. A stable connection between your email client and email server depends on the syncing of your IMAP folder. If the server is down and you are experiencing issues, the problem IMAP folder is not syncing occurs. So, check the status of your IMAP server follow the steps below. I have an issue in outlook 2010 that some of mails not showing in imap account Inbox.
